Getting Ready for
Holiday Guests

You are hosting this year, which means the whole family is about to see every room. A pre-holiday deep clean gets the guest room, the kitchen, and the bathrooms ready ahead of time, so you can enjoy the day instead of scrubbing right up until the doorbell rings.

Hosting the holidays is wonderful and a little terrifying. The guest room has quietly become the place everything gets dropped for eleven months of the year. The kitchen is about to cook three meals a day for a week straight. The powder room your in-laws will use has not had a real scrub since summer. And the front entry, the first thing everyone sees, is buried under the season's leaves and mud.

So the week before the family arrives turns into a cleaning sprint stacked on top of the grocery runs, the travel plans, and the cooking prep. Something always gets skipped, and it is usually the host's own sleep. You end up exhausted before the guests even walk in.

A pre-holiday deep clean takes that whole sprint off your list. We come in before the guests do and reset the rooms that matter most, so the house is ready and your evenings are yours again for the parts of the holiday you actually like.

What a Pre-Holiday Clean Covers

Every room a guest will actually see.

Most holiday hosts book this as a one-time deep clean from $180. Some add a recurring visit from $140 through the busy stretch so the house stays company-ready between gatherings.

Why Book Early Here

North Atlanta hosts the whole family.

These are family suburbs, and the holidays prove it. Homes across Alpharetta and Milton fill up with relatives flying in, kids home from school, and tables that seat a dozen. When the whole extended family lands on your doorstep, every guest room and guest bath is suddenly in use, and the house you keep for four people has to work for twelve.

That is why the smart move is booking early. November and December are the busiest weeks on our calendar because everyone up here is hosting at the same time. The best dates go first, so as soon as you know you are hosting, get on the schedule. If you want the house to stay ready between the Thanksgiving crowd and the Christmas crowd, we can also come back for a quick one-time reset in between.

Handle It Yourself, or Hand It Off

What is worth doing yourself.

In the days between the deep clean and the big day, keep the daily stuff up yourself. Wipe the counters, run the vacuum through the high-traffic path, and keep the guest bath stocked with towels and paper. That is enough to keep the house from sliding backward before the guests arrive.

What is worth handing off is the deep reset before the first guest walks in, and for a lot of families, a second clean after everyone leaves and the house is full of wrapping paper, dishes, and worn-out floors. Book the pre-holiday visit early. Call or text Staci at 678-578-4747, because the November and December slots go first. If the season already has you stretched thin, this is one job you can take off the list entirely, right alongside the help busy families lean on all year.

Holiday Cleaning Questions

Answers before you book.

When should I book for Thanksgiving or Christmas?

As early as you can. For Thanksgiving, reach out in early November. For Christmas, book by late November or the first week of December. The closer you get to the holiday, the tighter the calendar, so booking ahead is the surest way to get the day you want.

Do you get booked up in December?

Yes. December is our busiest month for deep cleans because everyone is hosting at once. The good slots go early, so the sooner you get on the calendar, the better. Staci books Monday through Saturday.

Can you do just a guest room and guest bath?

You can. If you only need the rooms your visitors will use, we can focus there and keep it simple. A lot of hosts do the whole house once, then have us come back for a quick guest-room refresh right before people arrive.

Do you come back after the holidays?

Many families do exactly that. Once the guests are gone and the wrapping paper is cleared, a post-holiday clean gets the house back to normal. Just mention it when you book the first visit and we will pencil in the second.

Is this a deep clean or a standard clean for the holidays?

For the holidays it is a deep clean, since the goal is to get every guest-facing room spotless, not just maintained. Price scales with the size and condition of the home. See our pricing page for ranges.
