Baseboards are the line where a clean room either looks finished or does not. Dust settles on the top edge, scuffs collect along the face, and once you notice them you cannot stop. Two of our clients said the same thing after a deep clean: the baseboards looked freshly painted.

"I was especially impressed with the baseboards and woodwork ... they cleaned them so thoroughly they almost looked freshly painted!" Vivianna W., Google review

How we clean baseboards

  • On every regular visit, the crew dusts the baseboards along with the other reachable surfaces.
  • On deep cleans and move cleans, they are hand wiped and spot cleaned, every room. That is what takes them from dusty to like new.

How to clean them yourself

  1. Dust first. Run a dry cloth or the vacuum's brush along the top edge, so you are not pushing wet dust around.
  2. Wipe with a damp cloth. Warm water with a little dish soap handles most grime. Wring the cloth well, so water does not sit on the wood or the floor.
  3. Spot clean the scuffs as you go, gently, so you do not dull the paint.
  4. Dry as you go, one wall at a time.

Keep them up between deep cleans with a quick dusting. Regular visits do exactly that.
